  10.        This release note documents Fermi National Accelerator
  11.        Laboratory's NEdit product.  This product is a standard GUI
  12.        (Graphical User Interface) style text editor for programs
  13.        and plain-text files.
  14.  
  15.        Note:  Packaged with your software is a separate sheet that
  16.               contains the Software License Agreement.  This
  17.               software is provided to you solely under the terms
  18.               and conditions of the Software License Agreement.
  19.               Please take a few moments to review the Agreement.

  25.        COPYRIGHT STATUS:  Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory
  26.        (FNAL) documents are sponsored by the U.S. Department of

  29.        license to publish or reproduce these documents or software

  37.        package included in the Fermilab Software Tools Program, the
  38.        user agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions of the

  42.        accompanied by this INFORMATION/LICENSE AGREEMENT and the
  43.        product's ORIGIN STATEMENT (below).

  78.        INDEMNIFICATION BY USER OF THIRD PARTY CLAIMS AND DISCLOSURE

  81.        The User, his/her directors, officers, employees, and agents
  82.        hereby release and waive all claims against Universities
  83.        Research Association, Inc. (URA) operator of Fermi National
  84.        Accelerator Laboratory, its trustees, overseers, directors,
  85.        officers, employees, agents, subcontractors, successors and
  86.        assigns, for any and all liability and damages arising from
  87.        the reproduction, use or other disposition of the software.
  88.        The User shall indemnify URA and the U.S. Government for all
  89.        damages, costs or expenses, inc luding attorney's fees,
  90.        arising from the utilization of the software, including, but
  91.        not limited to, the making, using, selling or exporting of
  92.        products, processes or services derived from the Software.
  93.        The User agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend URA,
  94.        its trustees, overseers, directors, officers, employees,
  95.        agents, subcontractors, successors and assigns, against any
  96.        and all liability, damage, loss, cost, charge, claim,
  97.        demand, fee or expense of every nature and kind which may at
  98.        any time hereaf ter, be sustained by URA by reason of claims
  99.        of third parties arising out of alleged acts or omissions of
  100.        the User in the reproduction, use or other disposition of
  101.        the Software.

  103.        The User agrees that URA, its trustees, overseers,
  104.        directors, officers, employees, agents, subcontractors,
  105.        successors and assigns shall not be liable under any claim,
  106.        charge, or demand, whether in contract, tort, criminal law,
  107.        or otherwise, for any and all loss, cost, charge, claim,
  108.        demand, fee, expense, or damage of every nature and kind
  109.        arising out of, connected with, resulting from or sustained
  110.        as a result of the use of this software program.  In no
  111.        event shall URA be liable for special, direct, indirec t or
  112.        consequential damages, losses, costs, charges, claims,
  113.        demands, fees or expenses of any nature or kind.
